OpenShift Platform Configuration

CNF must be tested and supported on Red Hat OpenShift deployed on bare metal, using version 4.4 or later.

The CNF functionality must be verified using a CNI plugin shipped with OpenShift, and support it as a deployment option. If the CNF requires or allows usage of advanced network features such as multi-homing (connectivity to multiple networks) or high-performance networking (using a fastpath data plane like SR-IOV), that functionality must be tested and supported using Multus.

CNF should run in OpenShift’s default restricted Security Context Constraint (SCC). If additional privileges are needed, an exception must be requested for Red Hat review.

If the CNF makes use of CPU pinning or NUMA capabilities, they must be handled through OpenShift CPU Manager.
