OpenShift Badge Overview

Certification badges extend the Red Hat OpenShift Operator certification into specific functional areas or infrastructure services that are key in cloud-native deployments for our joint customers. Built on the foundation of container and operator certification, badges indicate that a certified product delivers additional capabilities, such as conformance with Kubernetes plugin APIs like Container Storage Interface (CSI) or Container Networking Interface (CNI).

The certification badges currently available for OpenShift are:

• Container Storage, for storage products providing and supporting block/file persistent backend for OpenShift trough a CSI (Container Storage Interface) driver.

• Container Networking, for products delivering networking services for OpenShift through a CNI (Container Networking Interface) plugin.

• Cloud-native Network Function (CNF), for products implementing Telco Network Functions using a container format
