Availability and Life Cycle Management
The application must be able to recover after transient cluster/node failures. A temporary loss of processing capacity is acceptable, but the CNF must re-establish functionality once cluster services have been restored.
The operator must be able to handle OpenShift updates, including node reboots. Once an OpenShift upgrade has been completed, the operator must ensure that the CNF application is fully functional.
Partners must maintain an OpenShift environment for test and support purposes, and they are expected to enable automatic upgrades on the cluster so they can continuously verify the CNF functionality with the latest OpenShift releases.
