Operator image not visible in Operators section of the Container Catalog

Issue

A partner has a published Operator, which is visible in the Red Hat Container catalog, but that Operator is not visible in the OpenShift operator section of the catalog at https://catalog.redhat.com/software/operators/search.

Environment

• Red Hat Partner Connect web site

Resolution

For Operators to show up in the Operator section of the container catalog, you must create a product listing for the Operator. The Operator section only shows operator products, not operator projects. Therefore, to solve this issue, do the following:

• Create a new Operator product listing for your operator(s)

• Link your operator project(s) to the listing

• Publish the Operator product listing

Performing these steps will make the operator visible in the Operator section of the catalog.
